I have been scouring the internet and Pinterest for recipes that are grain free, egg free, nightshade (tomatoes, eggplant, potatoes and peppers) free and dairy free. For now, I’m also searching nut and seed free as well. I’ve been looking for everything from faux matzo balls to meatballs to breakfast foods that aren’t just meat or just fruit. I love plain grilled meats and veggies but I’m looking for a little variety. Plus I still can’t seem to choke down a chicken breast for breakfast.
My biggest challenge so far has been my Jewish soul food — the matzo ball. I cannot figure out how to make anything similar.
Also, when I get chocolate back in to my repertoire, how do I make something dessert like?
In the meantime, I’ve been finding some blogs with good recipes. Every one of them follows the Autoimmune Protocol. That seems to be the “buzz phrase”.
So my challenge to you, if you are reading this, is to give a gal some assistance. Thanks in advance.
